ualchloe I saw you purchased a Dyson from the same person I did. Mine was a counterfeit. Your plug will be one way to tell. You can also bring it to Dyson and they will confirm it. Just a heads up in case you were scammed like I was

dee_rowlee FYI a lot of the fakes can even be registered. Google how to tell of your Dyson is real. And look at your cord…..

ualchloe @apkarpowicz the fakes are so good fyi! Your serial number will even register. Look at your cord it should have the reset button function with Dyson written on it. And the box on cord is bigger then fake. The filter brush was a dead give away as well. Lots of pictures online. Good luck. The guy that sold me my fake one has all his stuff removed now.

apkarpowicz @ualchloe of you registered it, then dyson warranties it. so, send it in and get a new one under the warranty.
