aimeeg101 @tofugirl217 hey there, I find the carbona words a little slower than RIT color remover and I did the whole process in my stainless steel sink. I probably soaked and stirred for maybe 10 minutes total. Hope this helps! I should be able to get your cross front mailed this afternoon after my baby wakes up from his nap.

aimeeg101 @tofugirl217 I was nervous too! I practiced with a headwrap and sari bag before I tried color removing or overdying any of my kantha pieces. I also read everything about the process on the bestie page. Eva Fox has a good video tutorial too.

tofugirl217 Hi I know this might be an odd question, but may I ask which detergent you use? I think my current detergent might be a little too harsh on my kantha/silk clothes and I'm considering switching. I distinctly remembered the kantha piece I bought from you was in great shape and had a nice scent.

aimeeg101 @tofugirl217 not a weird question at all! I use lavender seventh generation right now. I’m going to be trying Earth breeze, so I hope that works just as well. I wash all my KB pieces in a laundry bag, on low spin/delicate cycle and air dry them. I hope this helps!
