steevos7 Oh my gosh I’m sorry the dress smelled. It definitely is not cigarettes, rest assured cuz no one smokes in our family but our fire place had recently backed up and smoked out the house and I have tried to wash everything but the smell still lingers. I’m so sorry again. I just wanted to let you know and hope you enjoy the dress otherwise.

Crew boots I want you to know they are scuffed on the bottom from the one time I wore them, it’s just usual wear but one pic is from when I bought them before I went to the Motley Crew concert with on. jamaicajulie @alainanaidoo no the leather is good, I payed 350 for them like 20 years ago and only wore them once so they have a vintage look but have been stored in original packaging. They are gorgeous and just sit in my closet so I’m happy that they go to a good home and get flaunted, because they are worthy of showing off😉😉😉

jamaicajulie So in response to your rating and comment, in which I’m rather upset. These boots are clearly brown. I don’t know why or how you think they are black. As for the wear you say they have, in my inspection I did not see any wear except clearly the bottoms that I told you about before you purchased them. I will gladly take them back if your that unhappy! They are 300$ boots and about 20 years old so I would consider them vintage

jamaicajulie I gave you an amazingly generous price and if you truly where that unhappy you should have contacted me. I would accommodate in anyway I could. The boots are clearly brown, black is black, even in the pics they look brown so I’m rather confused about that. As for the statement about the wear, during my inspection there was only wear on the bottoms in which I told you prior to purchase!

jamaicajulie I am a buyer and a seller on here and other forms. I always read about anyone I’m selling to or buying from. Negativity and poor ratings always affect my consideration to do business with individuals. I found very little about you but I contacted you prior to just clarify the wear. You seemed like a positive understanding person so I took the chance. Then only to get a bad rating and a false statement about my sale.

jamaicajulie Not only do I look at ratings etc but I know that other poshers do as well! These factors play a huge role in my consideration to do business with an individual. I have no time for negativity or miscommunication on here or my life. So I will gladly take them back for a full refund. I will contact Poshmark myself and approve it. If not keep the boots and I will gladly give you your money back somehow.

jamaicajulie Also, I was thinking if the boots are really black, in your opinion, and didn’t match my description, that should of been brought to the attention of Poshmark and would of been a return free and clear. alainanaidoo @jamaicajulie Hi, my building is holding onto packages because of Covid so I didn’t actually get to see them until yesterday. I only bought them because I need brown boots. When looking at them in the light, they are black. The box also clearly states they’re black. I don’t want to keep them, as I need brown boots. I can gladly send them back to you for a refund. There is also wear on the toe of the leather upper, which is what I asked you about before you sent them.

jamaicajulie @alainanaidoo I would love to see that reference because they most certainly are not black, I wish I still had the box. I can’t seem to agree with you on that, unfortunately, black is clearly black. So please send that reference and a pic of the wear on the upper your referring to as well. Why would you accept the order and rate if your intentions where already in place?

jamaicajulie @alainanaidoo can’t seem to find the logic in that. When you accept and rate, sales are final! That’s why there is a 4 day window for evaluation by the buyer. It should of immediately been brought to my attention whether they held your package or not! Feel free to post the pics on your page I’m very curious about the wear your referring to and the box info also.

jamaicajulie @alainanaidoo I have not hear anything from Poshmark so I would think they would bring it to my attention? Instead I see a very poor rating and a unclear statement in which I believe is inaccurate and your opinion should never determine a rating. Facts are what determine ratings, I could see if I sold you a pair of boots that are red and you wanted pink and I got them from Walmart.

jamaicajulie These boots are vintage and that’s clearly stated, vintage indicates years of age and possible esp with leather it ages. So I’m very unhappy obviously with your delayed rating and inability to contact me directly. So please feel free to show me proof of your dissatisfaction.

alainanaidoo @jamaicajulie I’m sorry you’re unhappy, but you said you wore them once to a concert and there was no wear to the upper leather. The label of the box you sent clearly says black. I also have a screenshot of my confirmation from poshmark of the opened case. Let me know where you want me to post/send it.

I went ahead and opened a second case for this with the pictures you requested of the label and the confirmation for the first case. That’s the only way I can see your pics and a pic of the box etc. then after I see it with my own eyes you can erase it and we can move on from there.
