I’m so sorry. My closet. “Atelier Amelia”, is named after my soulmate who happened to be 18 y/o kitty who passed this March. She’s with God and I rescued a 2 year old who’d been on the streets his first / years and is now fast asleep in my lap! Cars are awesome! ❤️

Thank you so much. I’ve had cats my whole life and just love them! My sister and her partner have 3 rescue dogs and they’re so sweet. Two are quite old and the other kind of in the middle. Spoiled just like my kitties have been - it’s half the fun!

I’m 62! It sure does but I still have long natural auburn curly hair below my waist ad wear jeans, sneaks, platform sandals (only @1”) and t-shirts. Still a child of the 60’s and 70’s. The older I get, the faster time flies so it’s important to do what you love. Next bday, join AARP - no kidding, lots of discounts everywhere!

That's great! I am still with Closet Tools it works for me. What are you using? If it works then that's all that matters! I made a friend through Poshmark, her name is Carrie, she lives here in Carson City. She has more experience with Poshmark than I do, and she has been very helpful with suggestions! She got me on Instagram, but still not up on how it all works. I also keep forgetting I have to post on it. I liked that book because I love cats, and dogs too.

I wish I had a grandchild I could read it to. No small kids in this family yet! My nieces and nephews have some kids and my brother has 4 grandchildren already. My sister has none yet, and so I am waiting for my two kids to find someone and settle down already. They are typical Millenials. They listen to their friends and not their wise parents. Nothing will ever change. I might order that book just for the heck of it though.

@kareynascloset My mom is 68 and she still gets in my case when I make dumb decisions.😂😂 I agree, kids nowadays don't value the experience of the older generation. They end up learning the hard way. I hope you get some grandchildren so you can read to. I have a ton of children's books that you can stock up with for when that time comes. What you see in my closet is only a small fraction of all the books I have.

@kareynascloset I have about 30 bins of books. I use to set up a pop up book store at a local farmers market and movies in the park very close to San Jose Mission here in San Antonio. Covid put a stop to that. over a year ago. So I had to find another to sell my books. Poshmark has helped to do that.

The way I started with Poshmark was that I had clothes I needed to get rid of but they were too nice to just donate and when the Covid thing started, it kept me sane just having it to figure out and post my items. Poshmark is a good on-line thing. It takes work, but since I am retired, it is my part time job. It takes time to post items so I just try to post a few items a week and that's all I can do, then so be it. Books do sell on here and children's books are a great item I think.

@kareynascloset I just sold a set of Curious George books for $22. I also have Closet Tools. I learned that if I share other Posher's listings, my closet gets way more exposure than if I were to share my listings. However, you do have to keep your closet rotating regularly or the same listings will get shared over and over. However, I don't think the follow function is working because I set it to follow but it doesn't reflect on my numbers. I'll need to email them about that.

@kareynascloset I also learned that if you share other Posher's listings during parties, even more Posher's will share your listings. You get tons more messages about shares, some more likes, and a few more sales. Then there's the afterburn effect because all the Posher's you shared during the party will continue to share your stuff throughout the night and then next day even though you stopped sharing for the evening.

@kareynascloset There one thing I hate most about Poshmark are the LOWBALLERS😡😡. I wish there was something that could automatically decline low ball offers. Maybe they could even get banned from Poshmark for excessive low balling. 😂😂

@kareynascloset Yesterday someone added 8 items to their bundled with a total of $160. They had the audacity to offer me $43 for the bundled. That was insane to make such a low offer but I had to be nice about countering and eventually declining their offer. 😁

Yes I know what you mean about the low-ballers. These people want something for nothing. NO. It's OK to say no to these people or counter, and if they don't like the counter, then, bye Felicia! I get fantasy shoppers who set up a bundle and I offer a great price on all of the items, and they NEVER get back on it. That's what makes me mad. If you don't want to BUY then don't "window" shop online!

It would be nice that if someone makes an offer under the percentage allowed, just like when we make offers to likers, then it should get thrown out automatically, but in the end it is up to Poshers to decline an offer and that's OK.

I totally agree. But, that's where you gotta be a meanie and say "decline"! They will go and low-ball someone else. What makes me sick is seeing great name brand items being sold for under $10! That is what sinks the worth of many good name brand items. I just go with what I think things are worth within reason though.

Hey I bought that book. I looked closer at it and it is SO cute! I will save it to read to my grandchildren some day! Plus, my kitty is getting old, so it might be a comforting read because I will cry for a long time when it's time for my Baby to pass on. He is still healthy for a 13 year old cat though!

I have almost 400,000 shares!!! and still not going up on the number of followers. I just started sharing my closet more and sending offers to likers, edit and share more often, share new closets and follow new closets only, and limit sharing only during certain parties.

Let me know if you learn anything about that. I don't think it works unless that person follows you back you think? I noticed that also. I follow AND unfollow quite a bit and my numbers not really going up exponentially either. You could also e-mail Jordan with Closet Tools, he is very helpful and always responds in a timely fashion. I also see many closets with over 150,000 followers, hardly any they are following and hardly any shares at all! HOW are they doing that???

I inquired with one gal and she was NO help at all. She just said that she has good brands and she posts new items regularly well, I do too. I have over 400,000 shares and you would think I would have way more followers than I do. I also read that when you help others share their closets, while it might get you more followers, you are also helping your competition. Think about that. They also said sharing only your closet is just the same.

Unfrollowing are the people YOU are following. Do you ever go look at their closets? No. So when you unfollow you also create more followers. That was according to the Closet Tool instructions and Jordan.

My goal on Poshmark is to follow as many closets as possible to find potential customers who will follow me back and buy from me. Well I believe the Summer slump is starting along with the crappy economy and high prices. I made one small sale and NO sales this whole weekend and I even lowered my prices and sent about 200 bundle offers to likers and NADA! ZIP! ZIPPO! sheesh! People are on vacation or they are having to pinch pennies. I get it! It sucks for us though.

Hey how's it going? Have you tried a live yet? I did one the other day. I have been doing some silents though they are easier and don't take so much PREP! The actual LIVE went OK except my damn microphone was not working and so it was like a silent movie! Everyone was pretty good about it. No sales though on that show. My husband fixed the problem so now my microphone will work. I am going to attempt another one next week of the same things, bags and accessories.

WHAT? I never got invited and I had another Posher tell me that the beta test was complete and it is open to all now. Can you go to My Posh Shows where the criss cross tool is in your profile? It should say MY POSH SHOWS. Do you see that there at the bottom? Then you click and you can schedule and create a show. I never got any invitation it was just there and I thought it was for shows that I watched, but it is for shows for me to schedule and create my own.

I am perplexed because I never got an invitation that I know of and it just showed up there in my tool thing-a-ma-jig. I would ask if they can give you a timeline so you will know when. That is just NOT fair. Did you try closing your Poshmark and signing back in? I was thinking about doing that then the option just showed up. I am more comfortable doing live silent, BUT I did one live with me there and got more of an audience. But I have made a few sales during the silents also.

The last silent I did I played some really nice guitar music and I did not have my mircophone shut off so they could hear my 432 Megaherts music when they arrived in. Usually my silent shows gets 2,3,4,5,7,8 but not more than that. My live live show sucked because my microphone was not working. I just went with it and made jokes about hand signaling! they laughed. My husband fixed that for me. I am doing a live dress and skirt show tomorrow night back in my Poshmark Closet.
