charyp143 Hey! Have you ever experienced a buyer who wants to purchase one of your item outside poshmark? Buyer says email me your address and all info and I'll send you a check then u can send me the item? I'm experiencing that couple of times now. I tried to back down, but kept asking me. What did u do? Or give me an advice?

adank23 @charyp143 Not yet, but 3 days ago someone contacted me asking for me to email the person about a potential sale. Here's what the person wrote "I'm interested and ready to buy Can you please contact me on smithjerry2569(at)gmail.com to discuss this sale?. WIll not be able to reply back on here for some reasons but i'm making payment on here, i''ve few inquiry to make first. email me Asap. Thanks".

adank23 @charyp143 My response was the following: "I'm sorry, but I prefer to answer all questions about my Poshmark merch' through Poshmark. Besides, if you have questions, chances are someone else does too, so it behooves everyone for me to just answer questions here ^_^ Feel free to make an offer! :)"; needless to say, the person did not make an offer. :P

adank23 @charyp143 If someone were to ask for an off-Poshmark transaction, I would probably respond with something along the lines of the following: "I'm sorry, but I prefer to perform all transactions through Poshmark. Please feel free to make an offer! :)". You could also add in a white-lie like "A friend of mine tried an off-Posh transaction and it went wrong, so I am not a fan" or "I've tried off-Posh transactions before and have always run into trouble."

adank23 @charyp143 Overall, I'd try to set a firm tone in the "no" direction, but at the same time, try to convince 'em to go through with the purchase (thus the "Feel free to make an offer" line at the end); they probably won't go through with making an offer or the purchase though, so don't be disappointed. I truly hope this helps! Please let me know if I can help! <3

adank23 @charyp143 That exact same comment was posted in 2 different places on another site! If you Google the email address (but switch out the (at) for @), you'll probably find the same comments I did. On Poshmark, @nvmyaccessoriz also ran into a similar "buyer" with the same email address. I too thought I was going to make a sale :'( lol
