genxmillennial Hi! I have just recieved your rating and message. We are a non smoking home with no fire place. About 2 years ago I had 1 puzzling smoke complaint and found that some USPS bubble mailers emit smoke smell when they heat. I only started using them again a few months ago. It is the only other possible culprit. I will go back to the tyvek envelopes. Very sorry that happened!

alipipcooke @genxmillennial Thank you for the explanation. I have been wondering about using the bubble wrap envelopes myself. I’m thinking I won’t be using them now. I have used only the tyvek envelopes and boxes, I will continue to use them.

genxmillennial @alipipcooke no problem, this is the second time. The first I thought maybe it was just coincidental, maybe I didnt seal it right and the mailman smoked but after searching this seems to happen quite a bit so I switched to tyvek JIC. Then my husband picked up bubble mailers and I thought it would be safe becaue lower temps. I guess FL is still too hot!
