aliciamarie1218 @ale_gem thanks. I’m familiar with micro plastics in clothing and so there are many different fabric pros and cons. With micro plastics, it’s best to use a guppy bag to collect it instead of allowing it all to go into the water and better yet to wash things less. Thanks for answering my question though as I’m trying to be more sustainable, environmentally friendly, and mindful of the workers (there’s a name for that I can’t recall lol). A slow transition of course

aliciamarie1218 @ale_gem I haven’t gotten a guppy bag yet but I’ve looked into it and would love to get the one REI sells, though the last few times I checked, they were sold out (a good thing at least). I’m a member there and such a great company working with brands that meet their standards. My biggest issue is that a lot of those brands don’t have my size. But the more people like us making tiny changes here and there does add up!

aliciamarie1218 @ale_gem If you don’t have an REI nearby, you can certainly look nearby and return to the closest store if it’s not too far. They have a great return policy. I did that because I wasn’t close to one but I worked near one so I could do quick visits. Eventually you start learning your sizes, the different brands, what you prefer, etc. Yes, I hope they could start making more things my size but at least some things are worth investing in a tailor for.
