jill0124 Hi Alicia, My bundle arrived this morning, thank you. I love the black Newport News skirt, but there is an issue with the black and white Dress Barn Houndstooth skirt - there is a light pink stain (wine, perhaps?) at the bottom right front, just above where my right knee is. The entire area is irregular in shape, but is approximately 5" wide by 3" high. Should we resolve this privately or do you recommend the Poshmark standard procedure? Best regards, Jill

jill0124 You handle so many lovely items of clothing that I'm guessing you weren't even aware of it, as the stain wasn't mentioned in the description. I checked the listing photos and from the angle that the front of the skirt is photographed, it can't be seen, but in sunlight it is very visible - my husband actually noticed it first as I took it out of the box and held it up. I didn't know how to message you privately (if there's a way, I can't find it, lol) and this is only my 3rd PM purchase.

I can send it via email, if you'd like. How is this type of situation resolved? Do you have a preference - what's easiest for you?

jill0124 @aliceu1735 I really hate to keep the houndstooth skirt, that just doesn't seem/feel right. You didn't realize there was anything wrong with it and here on PM you're not able to see the pics I took. From all the comments you have received, you have a wonderful closet that you clearly take great pride in and you obviously offer great customer service. We'll figure something out, I appreciate your willingness to work with me on this.

jill0124 @aliceu1735 Your idea seems fair as long as it doesn't cause too much of a hit for you, ok? I'll leave that part up to you to decide since I've never sold anything (probably never will). I'm new at this and, from what I've read, I gather that Poshmark's system doesn't really seem to favor sellers. The fringe sweater is cute, then again ALL of your stuff is great. Let me explore a bit more and I'll message you tomorrow, does that work for you?

jill0124 Hi Alicia, Great news - a little bit of Woolite on the gentle cycle and I think the spot hopefully might come out. I really love the skirt and have my fingers crossed. That way we don't have to worry about figuring things out, which is my preference and surely yours, too. Although, I want you to know how much I appreciate your earnest and good faith effort in working with me towards a resolution that suited both of us.

Your closet is great (and there are a couple of other cute items I might go for), but I really love this skirt with its classic cut and pattern - so timeless and versatile.
