gwylim You asked how to save a pleather jacket. Sand away the peeling leather with 180-grit sandpaper, then trace over the faded areas with a permanent marker that matches the color of the faux leather. You can also apply shoe polish to the sanded and colored area. Reinforce the edges of the damaged areas with clear nail polish and that should get you some added life to that awesome piece.
