thebraintrust Hi Alise-- The Donald J. Pliner shoes I have that are exactly like the ones you saw for sale... I can't say for sure when I got them, but I know I wore them to a friend's wedding in 2003, so they're at least 14+ years old. I haven't worn mine in some time.

thebraintrust The thing is, I have two other pairs of shoes from this company where I just discovered the soles completely disintegrated, so now I'm wondering if I should check the integrity of these. I don't really want to do it, because that would make THREE pairs from this company that have disintegrated! Let me build up the courage to do that over the holiday weekend. I'll keep you posted.
