bobbisattic Hi Connie, The necklace you’re asking about is a real amethyst nugget . The artisan drilled it to insert the wire to make a bale . The necklace is silver tone metal . The stone is a nice dark shade of purple amethyst . Pretty! Thank you for your interest! Bobbi :)
