Hi there! Greeting form a Canadian transplant in NY. Thanks for purchasing (my now your) Canada hoodie. It’s only my second sale so I’m just still figuring it all out . I’ll have my husband/personal assistant ship it ASAP.

@tr69 thanks so much! Love NYC. You’re a lucky gal. :) It would be great if you could put the hoodie in a smaller shipping box. I pick up my parcels just over the border in Point Roberts and they charge a pick up fee according to the size of the parcel. Thank you again! I’m pretty new to this site too. :)

@aoposh oh my sorry about the lack of spelling in the first text! I know Point Roberts well, we were actually going to go there for a visit soon. I’ll try to put the hoodie in the smallest package possible, thanks so much for the order!

@tr69 I didn’t even notice the spelling. I just assume autocorrect makes everything come out weird these days, so I don’t pay attention. Lol. We have a cabin in Point Roberts. Couldn’t afford the Vancouver market and actually wanted to be able stand on a piece of grass in a backyard every now and then.

What is it like to have a cabin there? I love that it’s so close to the ocean and yes prices compared to Vancouver are more reasonable

We love having a cabin at Point Roberts. It is a unique place. Most people think there are just gas and parcel pick-up places there, but there is so much more, and it's quite hidden. Lots of hidden gems. I'd say the beach communities are the best places to have a cabin -- South Beach, Maple Beach, Crystal...

These spots are definitely more lively and social, but it depends what you like. There are lots of nice, quiet spots as well. We are in South Beach and I'm biased, but I really think it's the best area. Close to a quieter beach and very central. There is a nice balance in our area -- neighbours like social times and quiet/alone times.

It's like stepping back in time there. Hardly any traffic, we bike everywhere, kids roam in packs (and take care of each other) while parents drink wine and forget where their children are. Lol. Properties are still quite reasonable. Hope this helps :).
