lionofgod0321 @bloom38 I need to report a scam artist. She goes by the name Linda Kate. first she said that she wanted to buy a purse from me that was handcrafted. she asked me for my email so that I could send her some better pictures. I didn't think it was that strange because there were only a couple pictures on there I had taken and they weren't very detailed. so I emailed her with the pictures and she emailed me back asking me if she could give me $50 on top of the $50 for the purse to hold it for her.

lionofgod0321 then I messaged her back told her she didn't need to do that all I needed was just the money from the purse then she offered to send me a check. I thought it was kind of weird but I thought well maybe she's not used to dealing with the internet and doesn't know how to pay otherwise. so she asked me for my address my phone number and how much it would be with shipping. then she asked me to take it down off of Poshmark.

lionofgod0321 She said her associate made a mistake and made the check for $1,875, so she asked me if I could deposit that by ATM deposit and then withdraw it immediately leaving my amount in the bank but keeping the amount to give to her and that I would let her know after I withdrew it and then she would send me the address to send it to.

lionofgod0321 I knew immediately after reading that message that it was a scam. but I want to make the people at Poshmark aware because I believe this lady has done this to other people and maybe even gotten away with it. and if she hasn't I don't want her to. so I'm not sure if there's anything you can do about it but I just wanted to make somebody aware.
