Alison Galey is a painter, photographer, and jewelry maker. She began painting, taking photographs, and handcrafting jewelry as a child. She was born in Evanston, Illinois. She is based in Palmer Lake, Colorado. She is a graduate of New Trier Township High School in Winnetka, Illinois. She has a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Jazz Performance from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, Illinois. She has a Master of the Arts in Teaching in Elementary Education from National Louis University in Chicago, Illinois.
