cassigraf Do you have any one piece swimsuits for swim practices, and I have a swim related question but do you wear your suits under clothes while driving to your meets or practices eliminating having to change, just jump into warmups, just curious what other swimmers do and if it works.

alliebeth03 @cassigraf all the suits in my closet would be great to practice in! the black and red TYR suits are kinda meant for racing in, but I know a lot of my friends practice in them :) I normally wear my suit on the way to practice, but you don't really have to do that if you're early to practice and the locker rooms are open

alliebeth03 @cassigraf also, I will wear a suit on the way to swim meets if they're at my home pool. if they're farther away I'll wait and change at the pool

cassigraf @alliebeth03 oh ok, I just started swimming so want to know what other swimmers do for there routines and what works, do you normally just drive back home in the suit after practice or meets and change/shower once there making it easier how do you prevent the car seats from getting wet too.

alliebeth03 @cassigraf I just wear my suit home from practices, and I'm too lazy to worry about getting my car seats wet but if I want to avoid it I'd just place an extra dry towel underneath me. for swim meets my team requires us to stay for the entire meet, so once I'm done swimming I'll change out of my suit at the pool

cassigraf @alliebeth03 gotcha, Isn’t it uncomfortable though after awhile or just don’t even really notice when your driving in a suit I haven’t figured out what works best for me routine wise, like tie backs for instance sometimes you’re like leaning on the knot and that kind of hurts after a while but with other brand suits i mean it’s like fine, if I had to wear one in the car like I wouldn’t mind it I just don’t know what’s easier

alliebeth03 @cassigraf I don't live too far away from my pool so it's not too bad, but after awhile you do get used to it. the tiebacks can be uncomfortable, but I found that if you put them on but leave then untied until you get to the pool it isn't an issue
