sarcasm344 @shoppaholicbug that's entirely dependent of the diamond. Ask for multiple pictures, from different angles in different lighting. No flash of possible. paperwork when available. Even just a receipt. I'd also ask if there are any visible inclusions, there most likely will be, but ask where they are and if they're dark spots (carbon) or white lines (feathers).

sarcasm344 It JUST came through twice lol it looks good. The video isn't very helpful but if you zoom in on the first photo you can see 1 carbon spot at the 11oclock positions between two of the prongs. Over all it seems to be a really nice stone. It would cost more than that in our store.

shoppaholicbug @sarcasm344 yeah I spoke to my uncle and he said that the asking price is way higher especially it's not new and even if she pawn it it'll only cost her 300$ and I know Zales adds up money in addition to the actual cost so he said even for 500$ that's expensive. Haha well that's because he's an individual jeweler and not a store like Zales :)

sarcasm344 Haha yeah, the mark up on that kind of stuff is ridiculous. That is a good price, based on the market, not actual vendor cost. Diamonds aren't worth what you pay for them, none of it is. You're never going to buy a diamond for what it's actually worth, unless you are in fact, a private jeweler with those connections.
