I was VP @ South Moon Under( retail specialty stores) in charge of merchandising-buying & all product, planning & PL for 37 years!!I was fortunate enough to be able to retire early when company sold a few years ago. Yes,industry absolutely insane was in NYC 10-12 times a year-loved & never tired of NYC- still love it! We used to buy polo (men’s) for the stores- long time ago- had a good run with it. 😀😀

I just received the beautiful red coach bag today, and I love it... there is only one issue I can’t seem to get past tho.. there’s a wrinkle in front that is probably there from the way it was stored. I can try to smooth it out, but have to be cautious not to damage the leather...any thoughts would be appreciated 😊

alliecat2587 @msoloperto hi there!! I’m so sorry you’re not 100% satisfied with the bag!! You’re right it was sitting in my closet for awhile. So I’ve never tried this with Coach bags, but typically leather becomes more pliable with heat. If you have a small handheld steamer you could use it on the inside of the bag (this way the steam isn’t directly on the leather, it’s really on the lining). Or if not maybe a hair dryer?

alliecat2587 @msoloperto Hi there! So I did a little more research and found another option: "Use an iron on a very low setting. You can use an iron to remove the wrinkles if you place a cotton cloth or shirt between the iron and the leather. Turn the iron to a low setting such as for rayon, and lightly glide the iron on the cotton fabric over the leather purse. Do not keep the iron in one spot for more than a moment." (I would do it inside the purse on the lining just for extra protection)
