gracieeaton1 @allisonyp No problem, the coat is full length and trench coat fabric with a lining. So I would say closer to light weight that heavy weight. If you are in New York snow weather you would definitely need to layer but would be great for the wind. Sorry, trying to give you the best description. Gracie
