neelysboutique Hi, I just purchased jewelry from you, and none of the Jlry is sterling silver. This is why I asked you are these real sterling or plated. You said sterling silver. These are plated... The stamp means nothing. The 3 rings were sold to me as sterling and these are not. I questioned you specifically because of the price. How do you want to handle this? I rcvd yesterday but have not accepted because I always test my Jlry. BTW, I'm a gemologist.

neelysboutique @12181978 I have an ekectric tester and are quite expensive. But there is the old way we used to do it with acid, which I recommend, you have a small bottle specifically for each type of gold and platinum and for silver. Very simple to do. Let me find my source tmrw so you can buy the kit I'll let you know what you need. Not expensive. I actually have my own here just in case. Old habits are hard to break. I've been doing this for many many moons. 😉

neelysboutique @12181978 I buy from a jeweler supply but I found it on on Amazon for less. I can't copy and paste on here from Amazon!!! Enter in search on amazon gold testing kit. You can buy the whole kit for $40 which includes testers for 10k 14k 18k Plat and silver and the box to hold all. It has the slate stone too and you need this.

neelysboutique If you don't need anything except silver test just keep scrolling until you find silver but you will also need the slate stone. Do you have a magnet? Look for a magnet too. Touch it to jewelry and if it picks it up its not real. Once you get it let me know and I will tell you how to use it.
