Meet your Posher, Alma

Hi! I'm Alma. I discovered Poshmark trying to locate a black vintage veil, wanted to honor my Gramma at her Velorio. I loved my Gramma, she’s was my Heart, since I was little, she’s always been there, helped raise me til I was 12, and at 15, I started working so I could spend the summers with her, and would save and see her 3 times a year until she passed away at 95. She out lived her siblings and did not bury any of her 8 children which was her one true fear. Spending time with her in her home, for me felt home, I felt at peace just sitting in her kitchen drinking coffee. I got on full time on Posh when my department at HireRight was disbanded, they bought a small company in Mexico City for their Spanish Customers. I’m job hunting now, hoping to find something that does Remote. I have only had 3 jobs, at age 15, started working at Casa Bonita, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, for 9 yrs, worked at Toys R Us from 1997 to 2018, and HireRight from 2019 to 2023. I am also a Cancer Survivor, I had Parathyroid Cancer, which initially started as a tumor that had me weighting almost 400lbs, I have since had Gastric bypass surgery and have lost almost 160lbs. I’m a homebody, love staying at home, love to read, truly I love to read since I first picked up a Nancy Drew book in the school library. I love the Supernatural and Paranormal, Mystery, my early 20’s it was Romance Novels, Some of my favorite brands are Coach, kate spade, Lane Bryant, and Converse. Thanks for stopping by!
