zulublu It wouldn’t let me tell you about myself - maxed out characters - I had a 4 bedroom house just for me, and I’ve also been homeless afterwards. My clothes and things went everywhere. I had over 30 Coach purses, and now I have 2. I wish I had found Poshmark before I sold all those bags for dirt cheap.

zulublu I had so many beautiful things, and then I gained all kinds of weight from not working and changing meds. I wanted to hold onto as much as I could, because I didn’t know if I would ever have the ability to buy them again. I’m selling my things because I have had no income since the beginning of 2014. I don’t want your pity, but I do want love and understanding. We can pretend to be whomever online. But I want to inspire others to be their true selves. XOXO

zulublu I went from being completely independent in every way to needing help every day in every way. If you want to know more about me and my problems, please check out my website, I’m trying to get the surgeries I need to get back to work. My end goal is to teach Engineering at a local college that didn’t have a program when I graduated high school. Engineering jobs in WV are all physically demanding, and I taught Sunday school for over 5 years and have tutored and mentored before.

zulublu I have been denied disability twice (even though I was on it twice through Toyota), appealed my denials, those were denied, and now my disability advocate says I’m at least a year away from a hearing date (and they give at least 75 days notice). The only places I go now are Doctor appts, excited to have PT and Chiropractic again as I maxed out visits in 2017. I will be adding things as I can, but clothes and shoes can not be modeled since I am no longer a size 15/16 and my feet swell.

zulublu The most important message I have to say is your life can change much quicker than you think. Material things are wonderful, but connections and memories with family and friends are so much more important. I don’t want to sound like a hypocrite, it’s nice to have nice things. But they don’t make you a better person than someone that’s homeless.

majestictai I find it mind boggling how you've been denied disability help. That's crazy! The fact that you have a Ilizarov external fixation and it means nothing to them BLOWS my MIND!!!! (I learned about that apparatus in my biomaterials course in grad school). S/N: have you considering doing any remote jobs so you can work from home? Like online teaching or consultation work?
