I taught PreK for almost 30 years. I've worried about our generation of children who have had to go thru the changes brought about by the Pandemic. I pray for and admire the teachers who have stayed flexible, resilient and open minded enough to keep teaching and reaching our children. I have never been so overstretched in my life. Teaching in person and online at the same time was a struggle! Letโs just say kindergarten is not meant to be done through a computer! ๐

@amandareneesmit I feel for all of you. At 66, when they wanted to put cameras in our rooms so parents could watch the classrooms, I said time to retire. While I understand the concept and the generation of parents I had I just couldnt get over the idea that folks are being paid to work, not watch their kids at school. With all that goes on in schools, daycares, etc. parents play a different role in monitoring their childrens daily life.
