peamama Good afternoon I should probably have sent you a message prior to making my offer on the antique dress. My intent would be to wear it so not knowing how structurally sound it was, I would basically be buying it for the lace and from the pictures the lace looks good. I do have a very good seamstress who can repair the lace if it needs repair.I would love to be able to wear the dress.I just don't know how heavy it is.If it's a heavier linen or what your thoughts are...

life_dressing @peamama I'm guessing it's a cotton, repurposed as there's that lettering showing. It's of decent thickness, not quite linen, but not super delicate either. I do think it's wearable.
