goatbiz907 @heidisue608 eeehh...kinda, yea; our property taxes are astronomical, shipping gets us every time, BUT most of the towns/villages don't have sales tax, so there's that. plus we get our Permanent Fund Dividend every year which is nice (yea, we do get paid to live here, basically). n now that this whole Internet thing finally made its way up here we can pretty much hold our own, lol
