Could not find date code anywhere. The material is not like my Louis Vuitton purses which I have purchased in store.

The date code is in there on the side. The wallet is not new and quite some years old. I just took good care of it . I have authentic items with good feedback and with you reporting my item as not authentic I can get kicked off posh. You should've asked me first abt the date code and with that you can find out yourself abt it's authenticity. If you are good with Louis brand then you should know where the code is and if it's authentic. 😟

Take it to the Louis store so that you know 100% if you do not want to take my word. And also they will guide you as to where the date code is. I hope this helps ☹️

I have looked all through the wallet and can not find even the slightest remnant of a date code. Which pocket is it in? I will probably take it to the Louis Vuitton store this weekend. I have never purchased a wallet before only purses.

@astoots1 I wish I had posted it but I didn't want to rip the wallet- you need to really open it up and look in through crease. Look in good lighting and look into the crease of the pocket it's there;))

Can you tell me exactly what seam? I have searched even with a flashlight and still can't find it.

I can't remember off the top of my head but I'm pretty sure it's right side when you open up the flap...it's close to the seam and engraved on the wallet in black. If you cannot see it,again take it to the store and they will show you. Or maybe someone else can help / guide you?

I honestly can't find it. I looked through the entire wallet with a flashlight and I don't see any date stamped or otherwise. I will take to the store on Saturday to verify.

Yeah def take it then. It's there stamped in black inside the crease. It's hard for me to help you when not seeing it in person
