jlasmada Hi I'm having issues finding a box big enough to send your boots in in the box they came in. Can I just send them to you with out the box if so then I'm ready to send them out first thing in the morning. I would've had them out already if it weren't for the size issue and that I've been sick the last several days anyways please let me know asap thank you so much

amycat17 @jlasmada Hey, I really like the shoes a lot. My issue with them as that they smell very, very strongly of cigarette smoke. I could smell it immediately when I opened the bag up. This wouldn’t be as if of a deal to me if it was something that I could easily wash (like an article of clothing), but I don’t want to risk doing any damage to them by running them through the washing machine.

amycat17 @jlasmada I also am not certain that I’m going to be able to get the smell out easily. I’m not trying to be nit picky; I think the shoes are gorgeous. I am just highly sensitive to cigarette smoke to the point where I get nauseous when I am smell even a hint of it. I was just disappointed that I was not told that the shoes came from a smoking environment. To be fair, I should probably always ask before ordering something!

jlasmada What I've done in the past is sprayed Lysol and or fabric freshener and just let them sit in fresh air and believe it or not it's worked I'm so sorry about the smoke smell my sister smokes in her room and I originally bought them from her then realized they're too small for me and they've just been in the box so I haven't even tried to air them out. I'd be willing to take another $20 off of them if that will help you decide. Please let me know ok Thanks

jlasmada The reason I didn't spray anything on them ahead of time is because I honestly forgot I've gotten so used to the smell that I'd have to have been away for a few days to notice. Again I'm sorry. Now I know everything's going to smell like smoke. Omg what an ordeal.

jlasmada That's why I put the dryer sheets in with them because I forgot all about the smoke smell until the day of me sending them out to you and I wanted to make sure you got them on time

jlasmada No problem. Again sorry about the smell. I really didn't think they would've been that bad they've been in the box on a shelf for the last year but anyways I guess if your a non smoker you really notice anything and everything's that's been around it. I am certain though that they can be aired out because I've had other items that were the same and I just aired them out.
