wildgumption @frenchfri06 it’s totally fine! To “bump” your items up, you must self share your items. To do this you go to your profile where you can see all your items. In each under each item there are icons on the bottom. If you click the third one with the arrows,a pop up window will appear and it will show “Share this listing” you may see two choices “To my followers” and one other if there is a Posh Party.

wildgumption @frenchfri06 Usually I select “To my followers” and that is called your self share. That will bring up your items up in the search feed. Now community shares is about sharing other people’s items. You can do that by going through search feed, your followers etc-it’s all up to you! Community shares brings people to your closet. If you share a few of their items, most will share back and you may even get a sale through that!

But I seriously have had about 100 followers just today. Is that a normal response? Or is it cause of the number of items maybe I have posted as well

wildgumption @frenchfri06 it’s cuz you’re new. Poshmark makes it easy on the app to find new people and people who are affiliated with brands. You do not have to follow everyone so don’t stress out about it. Priority is self sharing and community shares. You may follow people on your downtime so you can check out other people’s closets and they can check out yours ☺️

A lady asked me to email her cause she had some questions and wanted more pics of the dress. So I emailed her. Then she decided to tell me that she wanted the dress and she wants to offer me a certified check along with $30 extra. Is that what people usually offer when they want to scam you?

wildgumption @frenchfri06 no don’t do it!! Transactions should only be on Poshmark. If someone comments on a listing and takes it off Poshmark, its most likely a scam.

But if she still wants it and missed the opportunity to purchase your listing price with the $3.99 shipping, you can just send her a private offer and give her the discount. This will eat your profit a little bit. But if you don’t mind, I say go for it that way.

wildgumption @frenchfri06 your new. It’ll take time to understand how Poshmark works. Followers don’t mean sales. It takes a lot of self sharing your items, it takes good titles and descriptions. I would fix up your titles. They’re too generic. “American Eagle Jeans” should be, “EUC American Eagle Straight Leg Jeans” “Nike Shorts Size Small” can be, “ Nike Boys Blue Green Dri Fit Shorts” e more specific. And I’ll remove original price to $0 unless they’re new with tags (NWT)

We have literally have had no income since August. And made it through Christmas too. Anyway. So most of my items have been donated inorder to help us have income:):). I have a sale going on and she decided to make it an even item number so she added another item after I sent the offer. Does she need to decline the offer and rebundle the items (including all the ones she wants) or can she add the item to the bundle another way? Btw... I have been doing great with sales..making Poshmark buddies..sharing..etc :) loving this

wildgumption @frenchfri06 congrats! You can have her decline the current offer or you can edit one of the items sizes and then quickly change it back and readd whatever you want to the bundle! I suggest you should join some Poshmark groups on facebook! It’s very resourceful

I wish Poshmark would have a better restriction policy for this - I evened emailed them with his profile requesting what can be done but never heard back. I’m the single girl out, so I can get all this boy live over here!! I like Poshing too! I jumped on at the beginning of year, & it has become my fun thing to do & stress reliever of my main job. And all of my jewelry is half off listed price. All orders $15 and up will receive $4.99 shipping with my offer. And all orders $50 and up will receive free shipping with my offer.

I haven’t figured out how to make it automatic when they spend a certain amount poshy makes it a certain shipping price. So I just put it within my offer when I send my offer to them. You have the option to ‘no discount’ ‘-$2.12’ or ‘-$7.11’ on the shipping with your offer

frenchfri06 @tatztale2 that is where you make the discount yourself. BUT if the buyer sends you an offer it will be full price on shipping. If you want to offer them the discount shipping, you will need to decline their offer and make your offer to them with the discount shipping.

frenchfri06 @tatztale2 another thing I have ran into. I have sent offers too early. Like the customers have still wanted to continue to shop my closet and I have already sent an offer to them. So in that case, the buyer needs to decline your offer ...then yourself or the buyer can bundle the other items and then resend an offer.

Cause more than likely they will be back. And they will also spread the word of how you treated them and get you more customers:):).

frenchfri06 @blreibman1948 i separate my items the way I would want to shop for them when shopping on posh. I LOVE turning my earrings right back into posh. Instead of allowing it to hit my bank account, I just let it sit there on ‘my balance’ and when I shop it deducts for the ‘owed balance’ from posh. And as far as shares, my closet remains like it is UNLESS I share or make changes on the items. Like if I change the price on an item, it pulls it up on top

frenchfri06 @blreibman1948 I think if you share an item at the ‘ men’s party’ it goes there but if you want your followers to see, then you have to share it again to the followers. Btw, if you want to organize your closet with the ladies, men’s, shoes, etc posts... go to google. Google Poshmark signs. And there are hundreds of signs that pull up. Screenshot them and add them to your closet at the given category ❤️😁❤️😁

As if you knew the story behind each and every quilt/blanket/throw then maybe you wouldn’t have done that to her. It’s a group of little old ladies that sit around and make these blankets. One that I bought off of her has a memorable patch from that little old lady’s granddaughter that passed away
