ajas1227 @amyrenae2005 I relocated to around the Gulf Shores area due to my husband’s job. We moved from Blount County. However, I was born and raised in Winston County. Most of my family still live there. A few also attended UNA. But, the weather is definitely better here than when we lived in North and Central Alabama.

Yeah, we’ve been going thru a very long rain spell here. But week of Christmas was in flip flops and shorts. I like it here for the most part. Mostly because of the climate. The people here are different. Lot of “snowbirds” from the north here good part of the year.

greenbaypackers HI. Actually a "Wisconsinite", but left there many years ago now & have criss crossed the country. My whole family is there though & yes...storms...snow...winds...ice. The very reason I don't live there anymore. And I know you guys in AL. have been getting hit really bad the last few years. Hope you'll be ok. tornadoes just roll through there like crazy. In fact, those storms cancelled my husbands red eye flight home tonight. Stay safe!!!
