I can't believe I waited until age 60 to join the world of Poshmark. It's a tool I share with my organizing clients (www.facebook.com/decide2organize) to help them part with things that no longer work in their life. We raised 2 daughters in our small home and over the years we were overwhelmed with clothing and accessories. My girls have introduced me to many brands I now love. Procuring vintage jewelry items and getting them ready to re-sell has gone from a hobby to a business! Enjoy my page

decide2organize @niecey2222 Hi Denise!! When I was working, I would reward myself twice a year with a Kate Spade watch. My family liked buying them for me for my birthday or Christmas. They are so well made, easy to maintain and the themes are so fun. I'm so glad you're enjoying "the hunt"! Find yourself a local jeweler that does batteries inexpensive. I have a guy that inspects them and puts in a battery for $3/watch. If you find watches and they don't have boxes, you can find Posh boxes for $5. Amy

We have mostly girls of cousins and we all had stages of dressing up & putting their jewelry on, scarves, clip earrings & fun shoes, furs lipsticks 💄 Those decades were so CLASSY.. I got many pieces gloves, silk scarves etc from granny n great grandma on my moms side!!

I buy them from auction and do my best to share them at a reasonable cost. wingedwearables It’s a new series just in the sketch stage. I needed a lot of cameos hard to find; left facing, multi racial. I did acquire African American, Hispanic and Asian. No Native American cameos 🤷‍♀️

wingedwearables The bear cuff is an addition to my Viking cuffs. Historically they did not use bears in jewelry. A bear claw or tooth was worn as a badge of honor by he who slayed the bear or fur for warmth NOT adornment

decide2organize @wingedwearables I'll research the Native American cameos for you. It's doubtful there are very many, maybe only Native American royalty (princess). I'm near the Seneca and Tuscarora Nations and have met a few people who have been kind enough to help me identify pieces.

decide2organize @wingedwearables You are correct about the bears. This is a Mexico piece and their interpretation of what they thought a Native American piece should look like. The bears I find are always on all 4 paws in a silhouette. Commonly used by Zuni with specific symbols (mostly arrows).

wingedwearables You are right about Poshmark! What was just for fun has turned into a full time job. At 70, I was supposed to get back to my first love, making art. I found myself diverted at 30, when my father died…spent 30 years in medicine. At 51, my husband died but I kept working. (No Choice). Time to do shipping 🙋‍♀️

bohobyhope I’ve been on Posh since 2016 (I began at 46!), and yours is the best closet I’ve seen to date! When I began Posh, my daughter was away at college. She convinced me to start Posh with the hope it would keep me busy, and I’d worry about & bother her less. With me being a single mom to just one Gracie, I’m not sure that actually worked out for her, but I have enjoyed the experience! ❤️

nailtechfriend Very nice closet, top notch photo displays, and quality vintage pieces! I'm in the same boat as you are, I waited till I was 60 to start selling on Poshmark. I joined up, but didn't do anything for 6 months because I was afraid of the digital technology it would require. I have sang as a vocalist & have been a professional nail technician/salon owner for most of my life, and neither of those professions required computer knowledge. But, I've come a long way baby! 😉
