hi Amy..I'm sad about the bad review😢. it was sealed when I bought it, opened to smell and resold right away the next day. it definitely was fresh. didn't see a date on the bottom. in my listing I did state the above info to next buyer. I'm sorry for the confusion🥰😘

@amybierer I was born & raised in Wisconsin. researched ancestors. They of course started out east.Mostly Pennsylvania. A lot moved to Wisconsin. The state is mostly German decent because climate is most like Germany.Not commen name.
Growing up with it was a pain. lol.all the jokes.Learned the proper way to say it was when I took German in high school.
