Hi! Thank you so much to all my new and existing customers. I left my retail position about 6 months ago to focus 100% on my Poshmark store. It’s very tough at times with this ever changing economy, but I’m so grateful to be working from home and more present for my two wonderful kids and husband. I’ve been in retail for over 20 years and worn many hats—manager, buyer, merchandiser, stylist, business owner! Now I continue to help my clients and friends by editing their wardrobes and consigning their fabulous items! I thought I would update this post and explain a little about my process. I put a lot of work and attention into prepping my inventory for sale. I almost always steam garments, which makes it easy to inspect every inch while cleaning. I pride myself on my reviews, and try my absolute best to accurately describe items. If something has a stain and is not dry clean only I typically wash it in hypoallergenic detergent. I spend a lot of time prepping other items—like leather wipes on bags and shoes, magic erasers on shoes, silver polish on jewelry, etc! Unless an item belonged to me, all my items are on consignment. This means that if I sell something for $20, which nets $16 after PM fees, I make $8. If I decline your offer it means the price doesn’t meet my client’s expectation.
