@memee778 I’d be happy to help you if you decide to go that route. I really struggled and made huge mistakes when I first started. And that’s when a lot of my nice things sold (undervalued) and I would see them reposted elsewhere/flipped. I’m a mentor now and try to help others avoid that, especially if I see a piece they have underpriced.

@memee778 Well Poshmark suggests if you can get ten things up you’re more likely to be successful. That’s probably accurate. Sharing is absolutely KEY. This is a networking community. Share randomly for closets that also share and try to return shares. Do that same thing for the parties that apply to certain things (sweaters, shoes, etc.) Be compliant. (Only fashion etc.), And take the best, most creative pictures possible with measurements. People tend to ask at 2 am if they’re not posted. 😂

@memee778 If you see a certain style of picture /closet listing that you like you can certainly emulate it as you go along. Add props to make your items look more interesting. It’s the first thing that people see... And remember to be as accurate as you can when describing something. It will help it sell... (More information vs less)

@memee778 Not really... Some people will say it’s a re-posh and some won’t. Once you purchase something it obviously belongs to you, and as such you’re allowed to do with it as you see fit. It happens all the time...

@memee778 Work on building up your followers... Those are the people who will actually SEE your listings. This comes from SHARING repeatedly and via the parties that pertain to a particular category. If you share five of mine and I share five back, MY followers will get your listings in their feed.... Make sense?

I haven’t even gone into my actual closet yet. Scarves, dresses, Coach heels that were never worn.....feedback welcomed! I think I’m going to have a ton of fun with props. Would you add cheaper items also?

I used to do a lot of random shares, and I still do... I make sure that I look first now to see if that person actually participates in sharing. If they have 0 shares or 2, they’re not likely to return YOU’RE shares....

@memee778 Feedback: research what the prices are for the items are selling for on Poshmark, because you’re likely to get more for things that you haven’t worn...(Banana Republic pants, not worn... maybe higher? $$) Definitely list as much as you can! Posh says closets with 10+ items are the most successful. 😘

If the pants were mine I’d put $45 to $50 on them. You might actually get that. If not, someone will make a more reasonable offer. At the price point they’re at now, you’re likely to get VERY little for them...And they’re NICE!
