myheartbeets Thanks for your offer. Due to posh cuts I can not sell you anything for $5. That makes the seller get 5 cents. Which is not even worth it for all the work. My offer is where I stand on the item. We don’t get any of the shipping money, and anything else then $5 is not worth selling

andorea @myheartbeets Poshmark is a market, where offers are made and accepted or rejected, or negotiated. Sometimes an item is worth full price to me. Sometimes it is a desire but not a need. I make an offer accordingly. I’m not a “fashionista” but I’ve been able to buy a number of items for my family in the last month.

andorea @myheartbeets But I admit, offering $5 on that $13 hat was an error. I knew it was something I didn’t really need. I did it on a whim, thinking about my sweet husband’s pate. The hat is a simple one, has apparently been on the market for quite a while, and has 2 likes. It didn’t seem unrealistic you might be interested in selling it. And I’m sure you realize that a buyer who’s interested in only one small item has to take into consideration the proportionately hefty shipping fees.

andorea @myheartbeets Trying to look at it from your perspective, it’s interesting you get none of those, that was unexpected. But I thought perhaps we could find a price we could agree on. I do think it’s unfortunate there isn’t a better forum for the comments from the two of you than posting on a personal profile. Actually, I think it’s unprofessional.

andorea @myheartbeets The funny thing is, I see you did counter. And I probably would’ve considered your counter. So the saltiness here is odd. I do understand that these are your things you’re selling (possibly) and that you may be attached to them. However, this is a market. Buying, selling, trading - I suspect that for thousands of years, the seller has always wanted to receive more and the buyer has always wanted to give less. We each have our limit - It as a dance. Hopefully a light one.
