andreajoy339 @alinaleonardo How does shipping work and does this app benefit you? Is there a good and bad way to go about selling your items? I just posted a few things but I have tons of stuff! Just not sure what the best way is to go about posting/selling......

alinaleonardo @andreajoy339 you don’t have to worry about shipping. Poshmark sends you a prepaid label and you will just have to print it and attach it to the package you are sending. When you sell an item, poshmark takes charges the buyer up to $7.11. You have the option to charge the buyer less or no shipping ( for ex if you charge $4.99 when you sell an item, you will be paying the rest of $2.12. It is all deducted from the item you see at that moment

alinaleonardo @andreajoy339 The trick to selling is to get as much exposure as you can by sharing your closet, each item individually. You have those 2square arrows on the lower right side of each listing. Hit that and “share”

alinaleonardo @andreajoy339 before you post, do a comp and see who else is selling that particular brand or item, what condition it’s in and so forth... and kinda go with that for the pricing. Check my listings as how to take pictures...imagine you are buying a blouse for exaample. What are you looking for is measurements, tags, what’s made of, how it fits. I sometimes model the item so people see the fit

alinaleonardo @andreajoy339 anyways, my best advice is, don’t get too attached to your items, be prepared to accept a bit of a lower price if you want to make sales. If somebody lowballs you, don’t just say no, counteroffer! Sometimes buyers are not aware the seller pays 20% fees to Poshmark.

style_goddess_ @andreajoy339 thank you. I just started doing this a few day’s ago. Trying to make some extra money and clean out my closet. I have way too many clothes... I’ve only sold one thing so far. It’s a lot harder than I thought it would be to sell things on here... please pray that I’m able to sell my items on here. I really need the extra money. And I’ll do the same for you. I’m actually going to send you a message on fb bc I’d like to talk to you privately.
