Photo tip: use the viewfinder in the Poshmark app - when you hit “sell” take the photo right from the app view and you will always have your photo centered perfectly and you won’t have to transfer from your phone each time. wildwoman1975 Hi I just wanted to message you because.. the mug you bought was never repaired and if you really thought about it you’d realize that if a handle from a mug broke .. how could it break off on the bottom only? It would have to either break completely off or it would have to break in 2 different spots in order for it to be repaired.. Stone does not bend.. so I don’t understand how you think it could be glued on the bottom of the handle only?that makes no sense..

wildwoman1975 My guess would be.. if it’s glued which I never seen any glue in it but if so it was probably reinforced before it was baked.. these are one of a kind handmade stone pottery mugs.. .. anyways I just had to reply because it truly doesn’t make sense that only one piece of a handle would break.. have a great day

vintageoracle @wildwoman1975 i appreciate you reaching out. i have an extensive collection of hand thrown and hand built pottery from artisans all over the world. the mug i purchased from you was soda fired giving that distictive outter look. during the firing, where the handle was attached, cracked. there's firing cracks on both the top and bottom.

vintageoracle @wildwoman1975 at some point, someone applied epoxy to help strengthen the attachment points. it's a common practice, as the mug is still functional, only structurally weak at those points. when that happens, the mug is typically sold as a "second"

vintageoracle @wildwoman1975 the glue is there and visible. I'd be happy to send photos. if you enlarge your pictures that you posted (i did so afterwards to see if it showed in the pics) you can see the cracking at the handle attachment points.

vintageoracle @wildwoman1975 i usually don't buy seconds. the cracking and glue wasn't mentioned in your listing. i realeased the money for it because ut just isn't worth the effort to pack it all back up again and return it and my daughter likes the mittens and frankly, shit happens. but that doesn't change the fact that the cracking and glue were missing from your listing.

vintageoracle @wildwoman1975 if you look at the second pic in your listing and enlarge the bottom attachment area of the handle, there's a reflective quality to that spot. that's the edge of the glue on the botom, the rest of it is inside the handle as is the top attachment point, it's under the handle, so not visible in your pice, but as mentioned, I'm happy to take a few shots and show you.

vintageoracle @wildwoman1975 to your point about glue being applied ahead of time, yiu don't do that when firing, temperatures reach over 700f, the glue just burns off. again, more than happy to send you pics showing the epoxy.
