mjmjmjmjmj mjmjmjmjmj Back measurement from armpit to armpit is 23in and on each side 11in making it a total of 45 +/- in...beautiful jacket! It is labeled a "large'" and it will close but not zip on me....I think you may be looking at an XL with a short waist
