eccentricities @taralee98 as I stated before, I only sell authentic purses. I pride myself in being an honest and trustworthy seller. I just double checked and all of the Yorks I have currently have stamped buckles. I have no idea why that one would be any different. I feel that you have been very rude and pushy throughout this transaction. Please return the purse for a full refund. If, in fact, the buckles are not stamped I will contact my supplier immediately to resolve any issues. Thank you.

melibee77 @eccentricities I have considered buying/selling store returns, but it looks like it could be costly if it doesn't work. Any advice?

eccentricities @melibee77 Hi :). It definitely can come with risk. Typically you purchase sight unseen and sometimes you end up with garbage :(. Over the last 9 months I have learned which suppliers to stay away from and which are pretty good. I also try very hard to only buy from major retailers where I can have more confidence in their products.

eccentricities @melibee77 I have had some costly mistakes (in the thousands of dollar range) but I have also had some wonderful buys like the jewelry you purchased which were Amazon shelf pulls (which actually means they were never in a customers hands). Shelf pulls are my preference and from large retailers. That way you know you are getting high quality products will little risk of defects. These buys do come at a pretty high cost though :(

eccentricities @melibee77 and NEVER buy directly from China. I received one thousand dollars of knock off product and had to just eat it and trash the product. I never trust direct from China anymore. I may sure the product has cleared a US distributer before I will even consider it. That way if it is fake I have recourse in the US against the distributor! :(

melibee77 @eccentricities Thanks so much for all your advice! I was looking at liquidation.com but the reviews are scary! When I had a shop- I made the China mistake - I did get some very cute things that I sold cheap but I did lose on a bunch of clothing :(

eccentricities @melibee77 you can find some good deals on liquidation.com but I have been burned pretty badly on there. I will not buy designer purses from there. I have come across a few that that were sketchy and had to just give them away to my friends. :(. Be careful of the suppliers on there for sure!

eccentricities @melibee77 I have been able to get some lots from there that were Macy's shelf pulls. Those were good. The problem is they don't tell you the retailer in the auction. You have to just get a feel for the suppliers and what they offer through trial and error :(

eccentricities @melibee77 Hi :). I haven't gotten into cosmetics yet but it looks like a good market as long as you can get the more high end items. I do see some shelf pulls on cosmetics come up occasionally. My suppliers don't get them in enough to keep a consistent inventory.
