@purplepassion68 You are most welcome. I will shop your page again soon knowing it goes towards senior doxie rescue. I actually have 2 doxies. I lost my other one almost 5 years ago. He was my "husband" as I called him. When he barked I moved to get him what he wanted. He was almost 15 when he passed. I love my boys. One is a real hound dog too. Howls and digs for gophers.

@videog1rl2 I have 2 as well. My other little guy is named Moose. He is a snuggle bug. Loves to sleep under a blanket even in the summer. Love them both.

@natasha62 yeah you wonder sometimes when they burrow if they can breathe under all the covers. Mine would stay they until their bladders were about to pop. Nothing like Doxies. :)

@videog1rl2 The one pictured with me is Cody. He talks back all the time when you talk to him. He and his brother Moose are only 5, but Cody acts like a cranky old man. He has to have a walk everyday.

@natasha62 my female, Mandy, is and "old grannie". What I call her. She gets in no hurry. She's about 12 so guess she has every right but if she wants to hurry she can. My male, Milo, is forever a puppy and he's almost 11. He looks older than Mandy. Their personalities are so funny.

@natasha62 it's been so great talking to someone about their doxies. Has yours had any disc issues? My male had issues that caused him to be unable to move from his waist down. I friended a supporter on how to help doxies with disc issues. She helped me how to manage his care and I was able to get him walking again. He has now and then a Lil bit of a slow leg but overall he's 95% better. It was a hard recovery but we'll worth it.

@videog1rl2 OMG. I am glad to hear he is better. It is a lot of work and dedication. Knock on wood no back problems. I try to limit the amount of jumping on and off the furniture. I keep their weight in check. You know they love food and can gain weight fast. I just watch them.

@natasha62 oh, yes! Mine have been up and down. They are at a good weight but Mandy is gaining a Lil since winter is coming. Mine love popcorn. They are by my side before I even get outta the microwave.

@videog1rl2 mine love popcorn too. It is okay for them to eat. Mine sit next to me and watch me eat a bowl. Moose lays his head on my leg and looks at me with those big eyes of his. I can not resist.

@videog1rl2 I took mine for a ride this morning. I like to get them out of the house as often as I can. A walk or car ride to run quick errands. Anywhere other than the vet office. They are great in the car.

@natasha62 since I became ill we've not done the car ride like we used to. We used to live close to thus wonderful dog park that we'd go to but my male, Milo is very protective of me and doesn't get along to well with other dogs. Seems this started once I became as ill as I am. He was suppose to be my hubby's dog but Milo took possession of me.

@videog1rl2 I am so sorry you are ill. These dogs sense these things. I can not take mine to a dog park, they do not get along with other dogs either. My other pup Dino, he would lay against my back after I had back surgery. They are very compassionate.

@natasha62 they have been my therapy for sure along with the kitties. They took me out of myself and thinking about something else plus they show that unconditional love that we all need. I can't understand how anyone can hurt an animal. God surely did a great thing by creating them as companions. So much we can learn from them. I have had family and friends that didn't want their children to have pets. To me they are extremely important to teach love and compassion.

@natasha62 I've known people that were so OCD that they refused to have pets due to pet hair. My uncle had a Lab that he raise and taught her to hunt. She was part of the family. He started dating and married this woman, and when they bought a house confined the dog to the entry area of front door because of tile. I consider that cruel and my uncle was stupid enough to continue to date and marry women like that after 1st marriage didn't work. To me you like my furbabies
