sargebill @1angiescloset_ no ma'am, I ca t part with anything, a lot were from my ancestors, / and living relatives, I do know what you mean though, im the same way,I traced the history of my gun jeep, a 1943 Willys MB, it's hair raising to read hand written accounts of men who survived places like Chickamauga, Gettysburg, the casemate, the somme, Ardennes etc... I even found the history of one of my German K98 rifles, evil past.

sargebill @1angiescloset_ the MP 40 is stamped SS,the MP44 was never issued, found in a cave stockpiled with grease in it.my M1 carbine was my dads cousin's in Korea. the campaign hat cavalry and artillery were from my ancestors along with the U.S.Army M1912 uniform.Id really love to help you out,but I can't part with anything.Thank you for asking though.

sargebill @1angiescloset_ one of my M1903s the 1903A1 was issued to a marine at Ford Island, Pearl Harbor, dated 1938,another was made in 1905, chambered in the .30-03 cal . My M1859 Sharp's carbine dated 1861, the man carved his name in the stock, P. Flynn, 5th Cavalry Regt. my Lee Enfield no.4 mk ll was issued to a para who survived Arhem,Artemis,. Wally Parr.,so you see the historical value.

1angiescloset_ @sargebill oh no! Not at all! I really enjoyed your collection and the knowledge, pride and passion, as well as commitment. I am just so busy - I am a front line Registered Nurse on the dedicated COVID floor- so it gets intense at the times. We worry 12 hour shifts- mandated to stay over shift, as well as work an extra shift a week. Saving one life at the time- trying really hard since March.......

sargebill @1angiescloset_ good, it worried me that I may have sounded like a snob.My fiance was an Army nurse in desert shield/storm then an E.R. nurse for the longest til she got an admin.job, I well know about the double shifts,long hours,risks,etc... I m so happy Samantha got a 9 to 5 mon-fri job. My mom was an R.N, I was medical N.C.O.cross trained in light weapons at Ft. Bragg.

I m very proud of yall ❤, thank you for all you do and put up with.I pulled weapons maintenance this evening, bought a nice gun cabinet at a thrift store, etched glass,big sucker, 40.00 ! I fired an original m1861 Springfield rifle musket, look it put me on my butt .58 cal.that Tommy gun ,a.45 ACP, wore me out.

sargebill @1angiescloset_ hey good afternoon, I remember back in the 70s, dad's cousin owned a surplus store, well back then,Japanese ,German, Russian, u.s.,firearms sold for like 25.00 ,today, you can pay upwards to 2885.00 for an Arisaka type 38 rifle, Even helmets, I have the 1st issue M1C jump helmet complete w/ Hawley liner, near mint. just that helmet sells for 14,000.00 easy !then I have the ground troops version M1 Hawley absolute mint unissued. Not to mention all the others.
