spookybookworm @bethriftychic I am really confused on the whole process. Do I and the other buyer(trader) lower our prices to 3$ then we just pay for shipping, or do we make an offer? That's the first thing we did but it wouldn't let us offer 3$ only 12$.

retrocollective @spookybookworm hey! When trading with someone the only way to do it on posh is to lower the items to the lowest allowed selling price ($3) and purchase each other's listings. So you pay $3 plus $6.49 shipping. Then ship the items like normal!

retrocollective @spookybookworm I typically don't trade, because posh mark doesn't recommend it. It is allowed, however they don't cover you in the event the other person doesn't ship your item/is a scammer or the item is damaged. You would only get back the $9 and not the value of the item

retrocollective @spookybookworm there are ways to trade off posh like pay through pal and ship the items on your own, but I strong recommend not doing that because then you are even less covered and more likely to be scammed and send your item and never receive anything in return

retrocollective @spookybookworm of course not everyone is a scammer, there are a lot of great and honest poshers, but there are some people who try to scam to get free stuff. I would check the persons reviews and trade history to be sure before you agree to anything

spookybookworm @bethriftychic ohh I see! Okay, that makes a lot more sense! I was like the way the person worded it was confusing! I don't have the card loaded with the amount I need so I'm just going to send her the cost in her package. So I have to pay her $9.49 then.

retrocollective @spookybookworm yes you would each have to manually drop the price to $3. Poshmark doesn't let you offer 3 because it's so low but you can just edit the price to 3
