ivrenvi Part 1: Hi! I'd love to chat with you about being a Boutique Seller! So, I started selling items from my personal closet on here in January... and started running out of things to sell, so around May, I decided to give wholesale a try. The majority of my sales are now my boutique listings, with an occasional item from my personal closet. I keep a running spreadsheet of my costs, and I am now starting to make an overall profit.

ivrenvi Part 2: The issue has been getting enough stock in at the beginning to have a wide enough range to appeal to people, and that took a little bit of money upfront. The biggest learning curve has been how many pieces to buy of each item and in what sizes. Since I'm still building my boutique up, I normally only buy 1 of each size in a S, M, and L, and will just restock if the item is really popular.

ivrenvi Part 3: At first I was ordering XLs too, but I started to find that those were the last and hardest size to sell. I hope that helps some!! Let me know if you have any other questions! Oh, and after you've been on Posh for 3 months, definitely apply to be a Suggested User, I think that has really helped increase my visibility!

ivrenvi @amartin197541 Anytime! I'm glad I was able to help! 😄 As for becoming a Suggested User: in the FAQ section of the app, you can type in "How do I become a suggested user?" It will pop up a page that has a list of requirements, and then at the bottom is a link where you can fill out an application to be considered! They apparently get a lot of requests, so it might take some time before you get approved. It took about 2 months for me, but it was worth the wait! 😃
