Angie, i hate to have to report that I just received the necklace and the string must have broken en route somehow. When I lifted it out of the box, the beads all fell off. (Those white howlight stones are gorgeous, btw.). Anyway, it needs to be restrung. I haven't notified PM yet, thought I'd touch base with you first, get your thoughts on how to go about it since I'm a newbie on the site.

@ladyhawke124 oh no!!! That’s terrible. It definitely wasn’t like that when I put it in the box. I never would have thought that would happen in shipping. I have never had anything like this happen before so I’m unsure of the best thing to do. I would recommend you report the delivery damage to Posh. They should give you your $ back and I’m happy to honor that. I’m so so sorry that happened. It’s such a beautiful piece. Bummer!!!

@bentoa Ok, I'll contact them. Yes, I can't imagine how it happened either. I suppose I could take a stab at restringing, have never done that kind of thing. Are you interested in restringing if I return? I really like the necklace and would like to work something out. Anyway, I'll let you know what PM says.

@ladyhawke124 That’s terrible about the other package I’ve had that happen before and Posh is great about fixing that too!!! It’s just a shame to be so excited about 2 new items and both aren’t correct. That makes me feel even worse about the necklace.

@bentoa I wouldn't dream of it...you're doing extra work already, which I really appreciate! The work I'm doing is getting rid of clothes I don't wear, washing, ironing, setting up photo backgrounds. The photo setups are kind of fun, but I hate ironing! I'm lucky to get two pieces a day listed.

Apparently the commentary I supplied the first time didn't go through, as they sent me a request/instructions that I'd already completed. So I did it a second time and have not yet heard back yet...expecting them to send me a shipping label anytime now. I am not in a hurry, so just waiting to hear from them.

@bentoa Here's the latest. This am there was another request from PM to file a report. This is the THIRD time I've received his same request from them!!! So I did it the 3rd time. Just keeping you updated. I'm new to PM so I'm not familiar with with the system yet. However, I'm confused by the means of communicating with others...leaving msgs on the item site, on their ID site.
