I do list things that I don’t necessarily like because you never know what people will go for. It’s like a mystery because I have things I think will sell fast and they don’t. I have some things that I think will be hard to sell and they go fast. It just takes the right person coming along.

beachnklothes @poshnmama Hi again Ann. I thought of a couple of questions for you that maybe you can answer, lol. First one, when I do sell something, I'm not very artsy craftsy, and I see all these cute artsy packages wrapped up before being put into the boxes, I feel bad because I don't know how to do all that stuff. I have tissue paper and some ribbon, and thank-you notes, but that's about as artsy as I can get. Do buyers expect you to be elaborate when wrapping up clothing?

beachnklothes @poshnmama Second question is, I have boxes that I have saved back to ship in, that aren't Priority, just like some thick, sturdy Nike shoe boxes or brown boxes that may have some writing on them, could I use them to ship items in and wrap that box in that brown craft paper, then tape it up and add the label? Thank you for any answers you may have, lol.

poshnmama @kyskloset506 I wrap mine in white tissue paper ( colored could fade on the clothes) and tape a little curling ribbon on it and write my thank you note on an unlined index card. Depending on the item, I may also put it in a plastic bag to prevent it from getting wet. I usually do this if it is an item that is NWT or something that has to be dry cleaned.

poshnmama @kyskloset506 Then I put it in a priority box. I order those free online at the USPS postal store. I think the customers mainly want to get what they ordered as fast as possible and want it to be exactly as described in your listing. That is the most important thing.

poshnmama @kyskloset506 You’re very welcome. I ordered some poly- mailers online. 200 for $18 I think. Others use large Ziploc bags, as well. I think the poly mailers would be cheaper than Ziplocs but I’m not sure.

Managing so many listings must be challenging--- I am at 465 and never can make up my mind about holding it at 500....and yes I am running out of room.Sales have not been what I had expected for the daily effort put out..in fact disappointing....less than 1% or 40 sales or so and nothing again for11 days... do you think I expect too much too quickly??? It does take up some space but I try to keep it very organized so that I know where to find things. I am not able to share all of my items every day but I share my favorite things many times a day. Sales this summer have been a little slower but I’m expecting them to pick up.

I share other people’s closets and my own and I follow lots and lots of people as you may have noticed. My daughter turned 40 this year and my son will turn 38 soon. It’s really hard to believe how fast time flies when you’re having fun. Enjoy your little ones because it goes so fast. 💕

And they had a fabulous Mexican restaurant there that served chocolate tacos for dessert. aspfleegor Sorry for the delay of responding to the shipment. We had unexpected storms and tornadoes. Our home was without power and received flooding to basement level. My week has been exhausting. Everybody always thought that I had to be a professor or had to teach Science. I truly had the best time with the Special Ed Students.

poshnmama @jmv_hunter Hi! Nice to meet you! I enjoy it as a retirement hobby. It’s a bit slow right now which is totally understandable. The world is a bit crazy these days. I’d say list a bit higher than you are willing to take, relist items after you have sent out offers to likers and when you don’t have anything to list. Try to use all the characters posh will allow in your titles to help with SEO. If there are flaws, make sure to mention that in the description.

I stopped volunteering for now and get my groceries at pickup outside the store.
