juniper878 @ay5treasures Hi, Ann! You have some great listings and your pictures of them are spot on! I’ve been on here for a couple months now and had a lot of help from one other awesome Posher, @acomfycupoftea! She gave me a lot of advice and has helped promote my closet a lot. Have you tried asking for host picks for any upcoming posh parties? I think that has helped get my closet some notice. I can help you do that if you’d like? 😊

juniper878 @ay5treasures Also the new live sales events are brand new so honestly I have no idea how you even get started on that lol. There used to be a banner at the top of my alerts page that had a link about live posh parties and how to get started… let me see if I can find it.

juniper878 @ay5treasures I will say I was also getting frustrated with no sales. It takes some time and some work but eventually the first sale comes along and things start rolling a bit. It helps to share other people’s listings too. It’s really a community effort to get your listings around so everyone can see it.

juniper878 @ay5treasures One piece of advice @acomfycupoftea, Teresa, gave me was to make sure you try to describe your listings in detail in the listing title, like using keywords, just what you would search for if you were trying to find your product. It apparently gets seen on Google when people are searching and helps drive people to your listing. I’m not sure I’m describing that right, but it helps!

acomfycupoftea @juniper878 You are so kind Jessica! I can actually talk a little more about the live shows :) Right now they say that they are still testing the live shows. Only a set number if poshers (Like ones who went to the posh fest conference) have the option to do live shows, but I'm expecting it to be rolled out to more poshers soon 🙂

acomfycupoftea I also wanted to chime in and say that your listing pictures look amazing!!! Rae Dunn and Coach are also brands that are known to sell well on pm. And like @juniper878 said, one great way to get your listings seen is for your listings to be featured as host picks during the posh parties. I'm pretty sure it took me 1-2 months to make my first sale. It's definitely hard to be patient, but I've heard that with the winter holidays coming up sakes should start to increase

juniper878 @ay5treasures Absolutely! I had no idea either 😄 Everyday around 1 PM EST Poshmark invites you to the posh parties happening the next day. You’ll see them in your notifications. If you click on the notification it’ll take you to the posh party invite and you can see every Posher who is co-hosting the party and see what brands/categories are allowed.

juniper878 If any of your listings fit those brands/categories, you can ask any of the co-hosts for a host pick! I usually only ask co-hosts who have an “I’m hosting” listing in their closet. It’s just easier to leave a comment there. There’s no guarantee you’ll get a host pick but if you leave a comment and also let them know you’re new and have never had a host pick before, it’ll make you more visible to them.

juniper878 The next party you qualify for I can comment on the co-hosts listings and let them know you’re a new posher and would like a host pick. That way you can have an example of what to do! ☺️ Sorry if this is a lot of info but I hope this is helpful!

juniper878 @ay5treasures Hi Ann. Sometimes some people will add items to a bundle while they’re looking at your closet. I think of it like shopping on Amazon and you put something in your shopping cart. Sometimes people don’t buy, or they may have added it by mistake (like they accidentally hit the bundle button).

juniper878 @ay5treasures What I usually do is comment on their bundle like, “thanks for shopping my closet, if you’re still interested in buying I’d like to offer a discount” etc. and then I’ll offer a percentage off whatever they added. You could also just leave a comment like “thanks for checking out my closet, let me know if you have any questions.” Or, you don’t have to respond at all. I’ve done that, too. In my experience if someone is serious about buying, they will buy it outright or make an offer
