caityschmaity @xbitterfruit oh I can’t set toe in a Target or Walmart... my stuuupid ADD, for real, if I go to a regular grocery store I’m in there for LITERALLY 4 hours! I was dragging my son along so he’d be my Seeing Eye Brain- he hated that gig!

caityschmaity @xbitterfruit besides since I’ve been online clothing shopping like a fiend, real life clothing shopping for ANYONE just makes my head spin- you can’t just type in some key words and there it is! My hair is blackish but I wanna go back red tomorrow! My hair’s been going grey since I was 17, and I have a pretty good chunk going, I wish it would HURRY! Think of the colors I can be THEN!

caityschmaity @xbitterfruit also you got a good blonde if you’re real hair is dark brown too- mine is super brown/almost black and I get the baby chick orange effect— I’ve gotten it to look decent ONCE! And then my hair just kinda turned to bubblegum. Bleaching never works except for w this stuff called ICING! For me I mean!

xbitterfruit @caityschmaity my brother is a hair stylist and I work at a salon so thankfully i don't have to worry about that bubble gum texture!! That happened to me once though and I cut it all off lmao. I'm usually okay doing my own color but blonde is hard to do on my own so I let someone else do it. :) I literally spend 2ish 3ish hours in target too so don't feel too bad!! It's the target effect!

caityschmaity @xbitterfruit I should have gotten a hair license- nooo I had to be a Fine Arts/eventually psychology major bc I thought I was going to get a Master’s in Art Therapy 2 min after I popped out my son! But that seems to be the most useful skill to have!

caityschmaity @xbitterfruit my friend is older than I am even(46?) & she got HER hairdo degree... how much does it cost to get one? I’m hired at the library but I’m used to academic ones & this is a City Job so I have to WAIT! Then I could dye my own hair EVERY day!

caityschmaity @xbitterfruit aaand I could even hurry up the graying, bc I’ve seen people with the beautiful fake dyed gray hair and it’s beautiful- my dad and all the dark haired people in my family went gray early and it’s the good gray but mine is just DRAGGING!

caityschmaity @xbitterfruit oh I wanted it red like in my profile pic? At the time part of that mess had been bleached, I used a DRAMATIC filter to show it but it pretty much looked just like that. I’m trying to be sort of normal for the Library & so I’m not doing a double process... gee blabbing up a storm on here!
