I just want to try the leggings but $69 is an insane price for a pair of leggings in my opinion especially if I've never tried the brand before, etc. if I was a hardcore lover I'd probably pay full price but that's not the case at the moment :(

harger0509 @mrsannak thank you for commenting on the Natasha denona palette. I kind of figured it was fake when I got blocked for asking if it was authentic. I'm always so hesitant to purchase brands I've never tried (but can't reason spending $100+ on at Sephora). I really need to start looking into how to spot a fake! Again thank you for saving me from wasting money!

mrsannak @harger0509 the other thing you gotta look at is price. That specific palette is $239. There's no way someone would sell a new one for $50 unless its fake. Even if it's used, they would wanna sell it for much more than that. If it's too good to be true it probably is a fake most of the time.

lovekatieeeeee You commented on something I purchased. I went to comment back but it wouldn’t let me. How do you tell if the Aspyn Ovard palette is fake? Because only way I knew was by the mirror, and hers had the writting on the mirror

It is very well made and sturdy/heavyweight. The fake one is lightweight and flimsy 3. The authentic palette smells like chocolate. The fake smells like plastic

mrsannak @lovekatieeeeee 4. The shine on the palette packaging. The authentic is reflective like a mirror on all sides, as you can see in my pictures on this listing. The finish on it is lacquered, super mirror like. The fake palette has almost an orange peel/paint runs texture/look to it and it’s not as reflective like a mirror. When you look at it it looks hazy/fuzzy sort of reflection. 5. The pan sizes are a bit larger in the authentic, the fake has smaller eyeshadow pans

mrsannak 6. The palette closure. The authentic palette has a strong snap when you close it and it’s super well closed and rather hard to open. The fake it doesn’t really snap and much easier to open. 7. The shimmer shades are super sparkly and multi dimensional in the authentic and in the fake they are definitely not the same way.

You can clearly see also that the fake palettes have like a sheet overlay on top of the palette because there’s air bubbles trapped, (at least that’s how it was with the fake I got from her, and there’s specks of stuff that’s visible. The authentic doesn’t have an overlay. It’s like one piece. it’s super smooth, lacquered finish, reflective like a mirror.

mrsannak 9. Also another issue With the fake is the plastic sheet inside that the pans are glued to just comes out of the palette. In the authentic, that will never happen. It’s super secure and well made.

mrsannak 10. Also the cardboard unicarton that the fake palette comes in is made from flimsy cheap cardboard. The authentic comes in a more sturdy thicker cardboard unicarton. These are just some of the big differences I can tell right off the bat. Like I said I have owned 2 100% authentic ones and they are night and day difference Compared To The fakes!

mrsannak Also you have/have ever held an authentic one and then get A fake one it’s really easy to tell the difference right off the bat. Night and day difference! In pictures you can’t always tell, but a great way to see is to look for the palette to be unblemished, anywhere, and super reflective, mirror like finish. (This palette in particular). If you zoom in on the fake palette, you can see it has like an orange peel hazy look to it. Not mirror like like the authentic!

mrsannak Also majority of the fakes have the stamping on the mirror too, and come with batch codes nowadays. If they didn’t people would get suspicious. They’ve gotten much better with making fakes nowadays. But just because it has those things definitely does not mean it’s real. I purchased one of These palettes from that seller on merc_ari and it’s 100% Fake! She sold like 3 of those palettes over the last 2 Days there and several here!

mrsannak I know how the real deal authentic aspyn ovard palette is because I’ve owned 2 of them and sold one here and one on merc because I needed the money. Then I saw one pop up on merc for a good price and bought it and when I received it, boy was it a fake!!!!!!
