annahopp @umarilandy01 Hi, I'm asking because I'm not sure, i received an email on one of my items, they offered me an extra $50 to hold the item and want to send me a cashier's check, is this legit, how do we get paid?

umarilandy01 @annahopp I doubt that it's legit. Once you sell the item, you can go to the my account section of your app, the mony is reflected in your account as pending for the first several days after you ship an item. Once the buyer accepts the item, poshmark releases the funds. You can then request a check or get direct deposit and the $ will go in your bank account. If someone offers you a cashier's check offline, theres no way for you, at least I dont think?, to authenticate it.

umarilandy01 @annahopp It sounds risky. Let me know what you finally decide to do. If the person has a bank account where they can write checks from, and let's say they dont have a debit card, why cant they use the funds (extra 50 bucks) to just pay the fees. Something doesn't sound right.
