potamogeton Hi Anna. I did a preshipping wash on your order, and I'm so sorry to say that a plastic ring connecting the strap to the back of the top cracked in half. It is possible there was a hairline fracture in the ring already, but I can't be sure why it cracked now. I can sew the strap through the attachment loop so that it remains adjustable if you'd like.

potamogeton The only difference would be that the strap slides through a fabric loop rather than a ring; it would hardly be noticeable and not inhibit normal use. I will add pics to the listing to show what broke. Please let me know if you'd like this order cancelled instead. Again, I am so sorry!! Nothing was wrong when it was listed. 😩
