samara1861 @stevenb712 Hello Steven! This bow tie is also self-tying. That means you can untie and tie it again many times. But if you don't like the hook fastener, we can remove it and connect this product into one piece. Also you can remove hook fastener by yourself or ask somebody near you who can sew. If not possible, please send it back to us, we will update it and return it to you. Return address on the shipping label. Thank you, Anna

I like the color so I think I may try it .... But I will look at it again when I get home I'm presently at work. If hook fastener works for me I'll keep but if not I'll send back ..... but I hope to keep it Thanks again for your explanation and clarity.
