ruthieh11 @annie94jones for what it’s worth, lesson learned.. although one can never predict what might happen down the road, I’ve decided no longer to accept shoes from family members to sell.. in fact, I e already deleted 80% of shoes in my closet that were pre-owned, regardless of condition..

ruthieh11 @annie94jones I’ve pretty much just kept my own shoes from my personal collection and might even reduce further, just to avoid God forbid, future occurrences of this nature .. I can’t bare the thought that this might even happen again to anyone else. Again, thank you for allowing me to do the least I was able to provide and for your amazing spirit throughout. lauraswi Hi! I just wanted to let you know That the tag was not reattached to make them seem new. An unused item with a tag attached is considered NWT. I don’t know what else I would have put. You are insinuating that I meant to deceive you which is not at all true. My daughter bought them about a year ago from madewell. I sell all of her clothes for her. Many things still have tags. I was never under the impression that I was to put the year the item was purchased.

annie94jones @lauraswi I hear you- it simply doesn't make sense to me as I've worked in retail (like Madewell) for a couple decades, and there's no way a pair of jeans from 2016 would still even be in their system. Simply bummed.

lauraswi @annie94jones well the tag wasn’t changed. Those are exactly as they were when they were purchased. You can see in my pics exactly what they are. I see you are also a seller. On your items that are NWT, do you put in your description the date they were purchased? According to Poshmark, NWT means anything with tags and Unworn. I just wouldn’t even begin to know how to dupe people in that way. I think you got a good deal on a new expensive pair of jeans.

annie94jones @lauraswi "Old, with tags" is an easy, honest description. I guess we're getting into semantics, and simply see it differently. I wouldn't expect a 2016 version of anything to be considered new.
